Unexpected events can cause you to cancel your vacation. Because we are committed to this charter, we must strictly adhere to our cancellation policy as outlined in our Olivia Terms & Conditions.
Transfer funds are nonrefundable and nontransferable from the point of sale forward.
Celebrations — Birthdays, Anniversaries, Honeymoons, and more
If you will have a birthday or celebration during your vacation and have not already informed your Olivia Travel Consultant, please let us know as soon as possible, but no less than 90 days prior to the trip.

Passport and Visa
You will need a passport that is valid for six months after your arrival date. A visa is not required for U.S. travelers. All other travelers should check with their local consulate to determine what travel documents are required.
Specific Needs—Dietary, Medical, and Mobility
If you have any medical, mobility needs, or specific dietary requirements that you have not already advised your travel consultant, please advise us of this information as soon as possible but no less than 90 days prior to the trip.

Airports
You will need to fly into and out of CancĂşn International Airport (CUN). Alternatively, Tulum International Airport (TQO) is scheduled to open in 2024 offering international flights.

Check-in
Official check-in is after 4 pm on May 24, 2025. If you arrive early, you can store your luggage and enjoy the resort until your room is available.
Luggage Allowances
While there is no luggage limit at the resort, airlines often restrict (or charge) for excess baggage. Because each airline is different, and the regulations change over time, please check with your airline for baggage allowances.
Pre or Post stays
Pre and post nights are based on availability. Ask your Travel Consultant for more information.
Transfers and meeting up with Olivia
Your round-trip transfers to and from CancĂşn International Airport (CUN) or Tulum International Airports (TQO) are included. We will request your flight information about 90 days before the trip to ensure you receive your transfer. Alternatively, you can visit your Olivia Travel Profile and enter your flight information at any time. The Cancun airport is approximately 90 minutes driving time from the resort. The Tulum airport is approximately 50 minutes driving time from the resort.

Electricity
The rooms are equipped with standard US 110-volt outlets.
Excursions
Since the resort is just ten minutes from the enchanting Tulum ruins and downtown Tulum, it’s easy to immerse yourself in the prevalent Mayan culture during your Olivia vacation at Dreams Tulum Resort & Spa. Surrounded by jungle, the best beaches in Mexico, and surreal Cenotes (meaning “sacred well” in Mayan), there are many natural and ancient wonders to discover. Plan to visit Chichen Itza, Xel-ha, Xcaret or plan a day of shopping in Playa del Carmen. Excursions are an additional charge; you will be able to book a few weeks in advance of the trip or at the resort after you arrive.

Hair Dryers
There is a hair dryer in your room. If you prefer a stronger wattage, we encourage you to bring your own.

Medical Services
There is an infirmary at the resort and a doctor on call 24 hours a day. There is an extra cost for medical services.

Sisters at Play & Friends program is dedicated to promoting and celebrating diversity on our trips for women of color and their friends. Meet your Olivia Sisters at Play coordinator so you can find out about the special events we have planned for you during the week.
Smoking Policy
All rooms and public indoor spaces are non-smoking. Smoking is permitted in designated areas.
Solos
Traveling solo? Be sure to attend the Solos Welcome on the first day. Here you will meet your Olivia Solos Coordinator who will share your Solos program for the week. We plan dozens of activities for our solo travelers, including a specially designated Solos excursion. In addition, we organize a special Solos dining area for all meals and reserve a section for the nightly shows.
Spa Services
Indulge and relax at the resort’s world-class spa. Traditional massages and spa packages are available for a fee.

Each room has a direct-dial phone; however, we encourage you to connect to wifi from your mobile device and use phone apps such as FaceTime or WhatsApp.

Check-out is 11 am on May 31, 2025.
Transfers to the airport
Your transfer to the CancĂşn International Airport (CUN) or Tulum International Airport (TQO) is included on May 31, 2025. If you are extending your stay and purchased post nights through Olivia, your transfer will be included according to your flight departure day and time. Departure information will be available at the resort.
